"Drawing The Line" is certainly one of my favorite major works.
It takes place into the "Time Flies" Serie which is also a Serie close to my heart in the way it is very imbricated with the music I love and the music I compose myself, the strories I write.
"Drawing the Line" is also a song by Porcupine Tree on which I worked for this long, long and tough Photography and Digital Art Work. I would recommend listening the "Octane Twisted" version of this piece of music when looking to my photograph.
I began this work 9 months ago and just finished it for my exihibition which opens in a few days (1st International Photography Art Fair of Paris - October 31 _ November 5, 2013) and also for the cover of my new book about my work:"Drawing my Line".
There are more than 220 Photographs included in this Art Work!
But also some additional Paintings and Digital Works included as well...
The Thema is about Synchronicity and parallel layers of Time, Time passing and Historical Dramas along the curve of it.
In an empty castle room (Neues Palais - Schloss Sanssouci) of Postdam (Berlin)
progressively appear and meet events and persons of different times together,
Drawing the Line of Time...
If you are curious to look closer to some of the images emerging from the volutes of flute notes played by Frederick II, you will certainly recognized some of my major photographs about Berlin but also historical views I reworked.
"Drawing The Line" will be shown for the very first time at the 1st International Photography Art Fair of Paris
in a very large format on my booth N°35.
